The OSG is extremely happy to launch
The Otter Circle!
This new initiative aims to include, in the IUCN/SSC Otter Specialist Group, those otter supporters who are not researchers, academics or scientists with publications but that are working hard and every day to help otter conservation and awareness worldwide. They will be required to read, accept and sign the IUCN code of conduct and will become de facto OSG Members.
How can I join?
Otter Circle Members are recommended by OSG members that think they should be included in our flourishing community!
How do I know if I’ve been recommended?
You will get an email from our Social Media and Publishing Coordinator, Margherita Bandini, giving you the good news and telling you how to proceed. You will be asked to send a photo of yourself and a brief bio of your work with otters.
Why would I want to join?
Being in the OSG means being part of a very proactive community of otter researchers and academics that are happy to help other members in need. You will have access to a huge number of articles, photos and especially knowledge. You will also be given discounts on our congress fees!
How do I recommend someone?
If you are an OSG member and want to recommend someone, please write to Margherita Bandini or to the OSG mailing list and we will send you the instructions!
