Dear Friends, Colleagues and Otter Enthusiasts!This time and due to the “online only” format of the IUCN OSG Bulletin we are now able to start publishing the Proceedings of the XIth International Otter Colloquium as IUCN OSG Bulletin Special Issue 28B -- only a few weeks after our return from the meeting in Pavia. The proceedings will be edited by Arno Gutleb, Anna Roos, Nicole Duplaix, Anna Loy, and Claudio Prigioni. The abstracts from the conference are already available via the website of Hystrix http://www.italian-journal-of-mammalogy.it/ and the full articles will go online as part of this special issue as soon as the final drafts are submitted, pass the review process, and are ready for publication. We hope to finish this process by the summer of 2012, but all will depend on the timely work of the reviewers and the readiness of authors to provide revised versions. We urge you to help accelerate this process by responding to the reviewers’ comments and edits as quickly as possible. We want to thank all the authors for their patience, all the reviewers for their scrutiny, and Lesley for all her future work to get this huge number of articles launched online -- once they are ready.
